Methamphetamine or "P" Testing
Methamphetamine Pre-Screening
ABC Inspections provides methamphetamine pre-screening as part of our property inspection services, giving buyers, owners and landlords an initial indication of whether methamphetamine residue may be present within a property.
Pre-screening involves taking samples from selected areas of the dwelling using an appropriate screening test. The purpose is to identify whether there is an indication of methamphetamine contamination that may warrant further investigation.
What happens if the pre-screening identifies a concern?
If the pre-screening returns a positive result or otherwise indicates the possible presence of methamphetamine residue, we recommend further testing by a suitably qualified specialist, including laboratory analysis where appropriate.
This more detailed testing can establish the concentration and location of methamphetamine residue and provide the information required to determine what, if any, further action is necessary.
Get in touch to ask about pre-screening alongside a pre-purchase house inspection or a leaky building inspection.
